The Executive Track

A Leadership & Professional Development Program for Students Grades 7–11

Offered exclusively to BV Hub partner school students, educators, and YouthWorks participants, The Executive Track is a dynamic new program launching in Summer 2025 through a partnership between the Blackstone Valley Hub for Workforce Development (BV Hub) and the Women's Success Network (WSN), a professional women’s leadership initiative powered by the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce.

This immersive program is designed to prepare middle and high school students (grades 7–11) for leadership roles and long-term career success by equipping them with the tools, insights, and connections essential to thrive in today’s workforce.

 

Program Highlights:

  • Application Opens: May 2025

  • Acceptance Notifications: Applications will be reviewed bi-weekly. Applicants will be notified within 30 days of application of status determination.

  • Kick-Off Event: July 17, 2025 at Hebert Hall, BV Hub
    An exciting opportunity for selected students to meet and network with WSN members—established women leaders across diverse industries.

  • Monthly Topic & Discussion Groups
    Interactive, student-centered sessions during the school year exploring:

    • Leadership skills and styles

    • Employability and soft skills

    • Professional identity and confidence

    • Real-world career stories and industry insight
      Facilitated by Joscelyn Young, Lynn Turner, and WSN members, sessions blend expert guidance with authentic lived experiences.

  • Quarterly Networking Crossover Events
    Once per quarter, students will join the first 30 minutes of a WSN Quarterly Meeting directly following their topic session. This rare access allows students to:

    • Practice networking with professionals

    • Explore career interests and industries

    • Discover job shadow and mentorship opportunities

  • Certificate of Completion
    Awarded to students who fully participate and engage throughout the program.​

  • Expectations of Participants:

    • Behavioral: Respect and Kindness

    • Active participation

    • Attend 80% of opportunities- with in person or virtually

    • Notify ahead of time if unable to attend

    • Qualifiers for Certificate of Completion (optional)

 

The Executive Track empowers students to imagine and shape their futures—while building lasting relationships with inspiring women in business and leadership.

  • Students in grades 7-11 (required)

  • Eligible for YouthWorks program or Enrolled in a BV Hub Partner School​

  • Complete Application Form
