Partnered Schools

A practical way to expand career-connected learning without building every piece internally.

The Partnered School Program gives districts flexible, ongoing access to BV Hub’s staff, employer network, equipment, grant support, regional opportunities, and program development capacity. We work alongside district leadership to strengthen what already exists, fill gaps, and build new education and workforce opportunities around local priorities.

Employer & Career Connections

  • Career fairs, career days, speakers, panels, and job chats

  • Employer outreach around district priorities

  • Job shadows, workplace visits, internships, and work-based learning

  • Labor-market and employability workshops

  • Support for educators coordinating internship and WBL experiences

  • Direct Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce coordination

Equipment, Technology & Shared Resources

  • ClassVR career exploration

  • DoBots and robotics kits

  • Collaborative robotics

  • zSpace and Cadaviz

  • Biotechnology, biomedical, biomanufacturing, and healthcare equipment

  • Manufacturing equipment

  • Electronics and physical-computing kits

  • Equipment integration support and access to specialized BV Hub spaces

District Planning, Pathways & Program Development

  • District priority meetings and strategic consultation

  • Innovation Career Pathways support

  • Pathway, academy, elective, competency, and curriculum development

  • Program design from concept through staffing and delivery

  • Customized planning for neurodiversity, special education, and workforce readiness

  • Financial literacy / financial aid programming 

  • Human-centered and psychology-informed program design

Regional, Advanced & Extended Learning

  • Regional and advanced coursework

  • Shared cohorts across districts

  • After-school, evening, weekend, vacation, and summer programming

  • Specialized programming that may not be feasible for one district to run alone

  • In-school, Hub-based, and industry-themed workshops

  • Creative, arts-integrated, and immersive learning, including theater, storytelling, design, communication, role play, and other experiential approaches that connect academic content with career-ready skills

Grants, Pilots & New Opportunities

  • Grant identification and consultation

  • Collaborative and regional grant development

  • Building pilots around emerging district needs

  • Current example: Massachusetts Life Sciences Center out-of-school-time programming launching in 2026

  • Other examples include YAWD, robotics initiatives, BioMystery, and equipment-supported pilots

  • Partner districts may be strong candidates for new BV Hub-developed collaborative pilots, while separately funded public programs still follow their own eligibility and access rules

Educator Support, Professional Development & Implementation

  • PD for VR, robotics, equipment integration, and scientific literacy

  • Career-connected learning and workforce-focused PD

  • Curriculum and instructional support

  • Technical training and certifications

  • Help turning an idea into an actual program, including staffing, facilities, logistics, and delivery

The Partnered School Program is flexible by design.

 

Each district uses these supports differently based on its priorities, staffing, students, funding, and existing programs. Partner schools may also receive preferred pricing or access for eligible BV Hub add-on services.
