Job Opportunity: Site Coordinator, Youth Opportunities Office (Worcester)

The City of Worcester is seeking qualified applicants for Site Coordinator for the Division of Youth Opportunities (DYO) within the Department of Health and Human Services. Under the Direction of the Program Coordinator, the Site Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation of the Recreation Worcester summer program site, as well as the management and direct supervisor of 10 to 20 employees (ages 15-24) over an 8-week period during the summer. The position is responsible for actively participating in and occasionally facilitating staff training and meetings regarding program development. This individual will execute the Recreation Worcester activity curriculum daily, and provide job skills, conflict resolution, restorative justice, and family engagement for the youth participants. The position will assist in the continued positive youth development and coaching of staff and youth participants. This position will take the lead while supporting youth staff in the daily implementation of athletic, academic, and arts curriculum at a Recreation Worcester program site.

Students will utilize online CDX medium/heavy software textbooks which is included in the price of the program. During this 220-hour course, you will learn the basic skills and knowledge needed to become a successful entry-level diesel technician.
