YAWD Summer Program
Paid Job Training & Employment Program (Ages 18–25)
Build real skills, get paid ($1,500–$2,000), and transition into a job with ongoing support.
Designed for young adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities.

Training: June 15 – August 6

Schedule: In-person Monday–Wednesday at BV Hub (hybrid model)

Employment: Mid-August through Fall

Rolling applications are open. Priority consideration given to applications submitted by May 5.
Get Paid While You Train
$1,500–$2,000 training stipend plus a 30-day employment bonus.
Job Placement
Participants are placed with employer partners based on interests and strengths.
Certifications & Skills
Earn credentials like CPR/First Aid and OSHA while building communication and time management skills.
Real Work Experience
Hands-on training connected to real jobs in healthcare, education, and behavioral sciences.
Ongoing Support
Weekly 1:1 check-ins, workplace support, and guidance through early employment.
