AT (Advanced Training) Students Successfully Complete Training Guided by BV Hub Advanced Manufacturing Instructor, Tal Stebbins.
AT Manufacturing students at The Blackstone Valley Hub: Ja’mes Jenkins, Tseiraun Williams and Bless Laryea reached a significant milestone this month as they completed their trade and earned both their secondary and primary NIMS certifications (National Institute for Metalworking Skills) in CNC Lathe and Mill Operations. This accomplishment reflects 7 months of focused training, hands-on skill development, and consistent performance in the shop and classroom.

All three students are now preparing for the next step in their career pathway. Monday, January 12, 2026, they began Work-Based Learning at Algonquin Industries, where they will transition from classroom training to real-world production environments. Their upcoming placements will allow them to apply their newly certified skills, gain industry experience, and continue advancing toward full-time employment in the manufacturing field. We couldn't be prouder for Ja'mes, Tseiraun, and Bless!
