ICY wrap up!

As we wrap up the year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and engagement in our monthly Internship Co-op and YouthWorks meetings and Internship Q & A sessions. I hope you found this time meaningful and helpful. This year has been incredibly productive, and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together.

Some of the highlights from this past year include:

• Working together on Senior Scoop to better support our graduating students.

• Hosting a timely AI discussion around future career readiness and how AI can impact our work as IC coordinators. 

• Collaborating on curriculum development and strengthening employability skills.

• Expanding internship opportunities and refining guidelines to support student success.

• Deepening our networking efforts throughout the DVC. 

Looking ahead to next year, we are excited to bring even more to the table—including increased collaboration with local businesses, enhanced networking opportunities, and potential access to new grant funding. I hope you’ll continue to join us each month as we build on this year’s momentum and open even more doors for our students.
