GJCC Advanced Manufacturing student’s shine at the BVCC & BVHub 25 th Annual Expo



At the 25th Annual Home and Community Expo in Northbridge, MA, students from the

Blackstone Valley Hub and Grafton Job Corps represented their programs with enthusiasm and professionalism, showcasing the skills they’ve been honing in the Advanced Manufacturing program.

Throughout the day, the students engaged with the local community, speaking about their

experiences and the hands-on work they are doing in class. The expo allowed them to highlight their passion for manufacturing, as well as the diverse array of tools and equipment they work with.

The students not only showcased the technical skills they’ve developed but also emphasized the invaluable opportunities provided by the Blackstone Valley Hub. Their presentations highlighted the collaborative environment and the real-world knowledge they gain, preparing them for careers in the growing field of advanced manufacturing.

Through hard work, dedication, and professionalism, the students represented their trade and the Hub with maturity, earning admiration from the community and building stronger connections between the program and local businesses. Their efforts exemplified the future of manufacturing and the skilled workforce emerging from the region.
